BLOODLINES & BANNERS

Rule one bloodline across 12,000 years. A historical 4X grand-strategy game where the dynasty is the empire.

Every empire falls. A bloodline endures.

Bloodlines & Banners fuses the sweep of a Civilization-style 4X with the intimacy of a dynasty simulator. You don't just rule an empire — you rule a family that rules an empire, generation after generation, from the first Neolithic campfire to the age beyond tomorrow.

Settle a hex map of the real Earth, research a 146-technology ladder, raise 40 wonders and push your borders against 88 civilizations across ten eras. Meanwhile your ruler ages, marries, raises heirs and dies; children inherit faces, traits and grudges; courtiers form factions, factions make demands, demands become coups, and coups become civil wars. Succession is not a menu. It is the game.

The game is in Early Access: a complete campaign is playable today, and it is not finished — the economy, the AI rivals and online multiplayer are being built and tuned with the people playing it.

What makes it different

The map. A hex map of our own Earth in 14 regions with real terrain and resources. Settle river valleys, cut roads, raise wonders — each with its own construction cinematic — and watch cities sprawl into districts on their own sub-maps.

The bloodline. Genetics, upbringing, stress, opinions, factions, coups and civil wars. Tutor your heirs, arrange their marriages, and survive their ambitions.

The ages. Eras turn like chapters: generations pass in a cinematic sweep, the court turns over, and the world's art, music, units and events transform with the age — bronze to iron to steam to silicon.

The history. Events grounded in real episodes, an in-game source button that cites the scholarship behind what you are playing, and an era-scored orchestral soundtrack with voiced narrators.
